It’s that time again. Our fearless vampire detectives need your help reaching their audience: Readers that need saving from the doldrums of a rainy day without a good book.

Vampire Detective Agency: Double Date picks up right after the events of the first book. It leans heavier on the mystery/thriller elements that only got a light touch the first time around, but the through line remains Veronica and Larry’s burgeoning romance.

I do love a good romance book, but sometimes I wish they continued on into the thornier parts of how two people make a relationship work. Which, is why for the second book you’ll get to see that “happily ever after” quickly runs into “how will a thirsty vampire and a human who’s blood burns vampires make a relationship work?”

Just like last year, I’m asking for folks to read the book and post a review. Simple as that. To answer some questions I assume people may have:

  • No, you don’t need to have read the first book, but as you might expect… it’ll be better if you have.
  • No, I’m not going to send out a copy of the first book for free alongside the ARC for the second book. For a bunch of reasons. Sorry.
