I only shoot in color, and edit into black & white after the fact.

I watched a photo editing demo by Hugh Brownstone where he explained, paraphrasing here, ~”If color isn’t adding anything to the story, then it shouldn’t be part of the story.”

I’ve been very slow and selective with my photos in this format so far.

A collection of snaps I’ve taken of our Cardigan Corgis over the last few years. This edited selection contains only photos taken with a real camera. The number of photos on our smartphones would crash your device if I put them all here.

One of the perks of living in Oregon is having access to one of the most beautiful sights in the world, the Oregon Coast. Just wish I had better luck on my timing. Feels like every time I’m there the sky is cloudy or the sunrise is fogged out. One of these trips the stars will align.

The Portland Japanese Garden is world renowned for all the right reasons. I’ve been there multiple times and there’s always a new angle or perspective I hadn’t seen before. Love challenging myself to find a new photograph at every visit.

I haven’t gotten to do enough street photography to call myself an amateur yet, but I’m pretty happy with how these turned out.
